The heart of Jalissa Culinary Co. beats in a small kitchen within the walls of a family home where, at the age of 13, my culinary journey began. Inspired by the warmth of family gatherings and the soulful tunes echoing through our house, I discovered an innate passion for cooking. Each dish I prepared was not merely a combination of ingredients, but a medley of stories, memories, and traditions passed down through generations.

While my youthful hands experimented with flavors and textures, I realized the universal language of food allowed me to travel globally without leaving my kitchen. Drawing from the soulful roots deeply embedded in family traditions, I began crafting dishes that borrowed flavors from across the world. The global notes harmonizing with local sentiments represented not only who I was but also the intricate tapestry of cultures that fascinated me.

Becoming a small business owner wasn't a calculated decision but a natural progression. The dinners that began as intimate family gatherings expanded organically, with friends and neighbors eagerly awaiting their next invitation. Their enthusiasm, combined with my growing love for culinary arts, sowed the seeds for Jalissa Culinary Co.
